1. The fire rating of fire-proof doors  according to GB12955-2008 national standard is classified to:

I: heat insulation fire proof door (Class A),

A1.50 grade A, A1.00 grade B, A0.50 grade C,the heat insulation and integrity of the fire resistance is: Grade a 1.5 hours, grade B 1 hours, class C 0.5 hours

II: partial heat insulation fire proof door (Class B),

the heat insulation of the fire resistance is ≥0.5,B1.00 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 1 hour, B1.50 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 1.5 hour, B2.00 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 2 hour,

III: Non heat insulation fire proof door (Class C),

There is no requirement for heat insulation, only the integrity of fire resistance is required. C1.00 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 1 hour, C1.50 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 1.5 hour, C2.00 means the integrity of the fire resistance is 2 hour,

At present, the general drawings is normally processed according to the grade A of fireproof doors

Class A, grade B, class C fireproof door, The steel fireproof door is made of high quality galvanized steel plate frame, door leaf skeleton and door fan panel,the door fan inside is filled with non-toxic and harmless fireproof heat insulation material ,and is equipped with a certain fire resistance door with fireproof hardware accessories.

Grade A steel fireproof door ,the door fan plate thickness: 0.8MM, door frame steel plate thickness: 1.5MM, door total thickness 70MM, fire resistance time 1.5 hours.

Grade B steel fireproof door ,the door fan plate thickness: 0.8MM, door frame steel plate thickness: 1.2MM, door total thickness 70MM, fire resistance time 1.0 hours.

Grade C steel fireproof door ,the door fan plate thickness: 0.8MM, door frame steel plate thickness: 1.2MM, door total thickness 50MM, fire resistance time 0.5 hours.

Class A, B and C steel fireproof doors are different from the following points:

1: the Density of high temperature resistant door circuit board with filling materials,dry density A grade is 420KG/ cubic meter, B grade 290KG/ cubic meter and C grade 290KG/ cubic meter.

2: The steel plate’s thickness of the door frame: A grade 1.4MM,B grade 1.2MM,C grade 1.2MM.

The structure of steel fireproof doors is basically the same as steel security doors, that is the steel fire door is not allowed to install side lock and lock fork.The interior filling material of the fireproof door is non-toxic and harmless high temperature resistant door core board ,instead of honeycomb paper and rock wool aluminum silicate.

The production of steel fire proof doors shall comply with the “general technical requirements of steel fire proof doors” according to GB12955-2008 ,and in accordance with this regulation, a permanent anti-counterfeiting sign shall be set up in a prominent position for a steel fire proof door tested when passing factory, which indicating

the manufacturer, product name, fire resistance grade, product code and date of manufacture.
