The roof ventilator mainly revolves around the aerodynamics wind load body theory, "when the wind is acting on the object, the windward surface is the pressure, the leeward surface and the side of the wind are suction". At the same time, combined with the structural mechanics of the building, after numerous tests and improvements, the more perfect products are formed. Its performance is mainly reflected in:

(1) The overall design is streamlined arc, which not only ensures the strength of the ventilator itself, but also effectively reduces the wind pressure on the ventilator itself.

(2) Utilizing the large volume formed by the height and arc of the ventilator, the collection and discharge capacity of indoor air is effectively improved.

(3) set up the push wind trough (it is also the waterspout) to gather the wind of the roof, and form the wind pressure thrust from the air to the bottom, so as to drive the air of the bunker to be discharged upward.

(4) the wind in any direction crosses the top of the ventilator, which inevitably causes suction on the outlet and improves the uplift speed of the ventilator.

The ventilation volume of the factory is mainly based on the design of the ventilator. To calculate the ventilation volume , we should know plant height, indoor and outdoor temperature difference,the most important is to know the ventilation flow coefficient (or resistance coefficient) of the ventilator, and then calculate the total ventilation of the workshop according to the formula of fixed ventilation. According to the above calculation of ventilation design roof ventilation area, and then choose the vent length * width (throat), finally determine the type of ventilator specifications.
